Village Surgery Campaign

25th March 2018:

The post below from our Facebook page explains the latest position in relation to the campaign to save Hightown Village Surgery. We have been overwhelmed with the level of support from patients, residents, and members of the public so far, and simply ask that you stick with us, your support means a great deal to us and has been instrumental in showing NHS England that our surgery is vital to the village.

We will continue to bring you updates on this section of the website, in our Latest News section (accessed from the Homepage), on Facebook, and in print using the notice board outside Hightown Village Surgery.

Fundraising campaign to save Hightown Surgery goes from strength to strength…

A huge thank you to all our supporters who have given to the fundraising campaign so far, we have now raised a massive £3,450 (almost 20% of our target), and all in just 14 days, and while more generous donations continue to arrive.

This is a hugely important aspect of our campaign to stop the surgery closure, allowing us to engage an expert law firm and obtain much needed legal advice in our dealings with NHS England and the local CCG.

If you or anyone else you know want to donate our campaign, simply visit our website or drop off a cheque (made payable to “Hall-Lyon”) at Hightown Village Surgery, Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church, or the vicarage at St. Stephen’s Church, these are all official drop-off/collection points for cheque donations.
